We Aren’t a “Gap” We’re Party Fillers and Connectors!

And the winner is…. WOMEN of the world. We stood up, spoke up, and demanded to have our issues become human rights issues during this election and won!

A special congrats to Elizabeth Warren who has dedicated her life to educating students and Washington on the realities of consumer credit. I can’t wait to see her in action.

The 18 point gender gap between the Republicans and the Democrats wasn’t a one-time event and the GOP knows it. That’s why the red side is scrambling to reorganize their party this morning — we are indeed moving forward into a new world order where human rights are the first conversation not the last, and Climate Change has became Business Climate Change.

The best news – business and DC already know that feminine communication skills help to break down the walls of misunderstanding between companies and political parties. Our joint humanity brings us closer, not farther apart as Joan Blades has discovered in MomsRising and in her Livingroom Conversations sessions.

The Speakers on In Women We Trust have been supporting this issues for years, sometimes decades in the case of Martha Burk and Diane MacEachern.  This election put new zest into all our efforts, I can feel the positive vibes already.

There will be many days ahead to ponder how we will connect and accomplish it all. For now, the critical first step one has been accomplished, with Obama a direction has been re-elected and I couldn’t be more elated for the human race and the global leaders working with us.

What forward steps are you taking?

  1. As always, well said. I am pushing to connect the dots across all different areas. Climate change is impacting all facets of our world. Hurricane Sandy was a wake-up call.
