Green Moms Carnival

In 2008 green mommy blogging was just becoming popular,  to keep us inspired and learning under Lynn Miller’s leadership the Green Moms Carnival was formed.

A blog carnival is when someone selects a topic and then everyone writes a post on that topic and posts it on their blog. The carnival host uses her blog to summarize and link to all the posts — think of her as the hub of the wheel.  The next month, someone else does the hosting. Carnivals not only push new traffic to each contributor’s site, but can create a stir up the market if the topic is edgy enough. The group currently has almost 72,000 followers.
